Lloyd S. Day was the son of John W. Day, Jr. and Lizzie (Elizabeth) Day. He married Beulah G. Henry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Henry; she was known as Veva H. Day. Lloyd, a Boulder native, followed his father, John, into the insurance business. For years he was a member of Day & Henry in Boulder, and then worked as special/state agent for Continental Insurance Company. Lloyd Day was an avid sportsman, enjoying fishing and hunting.
