In 1925, the Watts-Hardy Dairy was located at 1919 16th Street. It moved to the old Stone Barn at 1248 Walnut Street in 1927 and later expanded to include 1240 and 1242 Walnut Street. Lloyd S. Day was the son of John W. Day, Jr. and Lizzie (Elizabeth) Day. He married Beulah G. Henry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Henry; she was known as Veva H. Day. Lloyd, a Boulder native, followed his father, John, into the insurance business.
